After rehearsals on Tuesdays and Fridays, we repair to the Dog and Duck. This fine establishment is located on Hoppers Road, near the junction with Bourne Hill in Palmers Green. A place with a homely atmosphere, we find it most agreeable and if you fancied meeting some of the group in a more relaxed setting, please come along.

The Salisbury Arms

Our other pre- and post- rehearsal boozer is The Salisbury Arms in Winchmore Hill.

2nd June 2009 was the date, Tuesday rehearsal venue was the place where 32 of us got together for ELODS version of 'Britains Got Talent'. What an array of talent. Solo Singing, a duet, a Joyce Grenfell sketch, poetry, accordian playing. monologues as well as some Kareoke at the end, interspersed with some fun interactive games, made for a great evening. And food and drink to boot!

Summer Barbecue

26 July 2009: Summer Barbecue - A glorious afternoon, wonderful hosts, plenty of food and 30 people combined to a produce another great social event in the ELODS calendar. Guitar and a sing song aferwards was the icing on the cake!

2009 Quiz Supper

01 December 2009: Xmas quiz supper - Almost 50 people attended our Christmas quiz supper which proved a great success. A wide variety of questions ensured something for everyone and delightful home made cooking was washed down with supplied and brought beverages. And all for only £7.00 per head !

24 July 2011. Summer Barbecue - Another successful afternoon hosted by Julia and Joe with more food than one can imagine !

We regularly go and see other local amateur groups perform, and occasionally organise group trips to West End Theatres. Recent trips have included The Phantom of the Opera and Legally Blonde, La Cage Aux Folles (Green Room) and A Funny Thing Happened on the way to the Forum (FFBOS).
