Annie : 8th - 12th April 2008Annie is the original 'feel good' musical. Little orphans sing and dance cheerfully, even though Miss Hannigan, who runs the orphanage, makes their lives a misery. The plot concerns a little orphan girl, Annie, who manages to captivate the attention of a millionaire and eventually, by the end of the story, becomes adopted by him. The whole show centres around the fact that 'good conquers evil' and that everything turns out well in the end! Popular songs like 'Easy Street', 'Tomorrow' and 'It's a hard knock life' will keep you humming all the way home! A great musical, not to be missed. Our director for Annie - Julia Rufey, last directed ELODs for Carousel in 2006. Musical Direction will be by the fabulous Mark Newport, who has musically directed more shows for us than he can count.
